Keny is in his first year of University in Solola. He is studying to be an Engineer.
He was working to pay for his studies, he was working in an office with environmental studies but he lost his job and is now unable to continue to pay for his studies. His parents are unable to help him.

The father works as a day laborer.  He earns$50 US per week.
The mother works as a teacher. She earns $100 US per week.
The father has uric acid in his foot and needs treatment but has not been able to afford.
The mother is diabetic and has a lot of problems with gastritis.
She is receiving medical treatment through her work.

The family is in a lot of debt because the father had a car accident.
They are paying this debt off , they pay $534 US per month....which takes all their money.
They are finding it very difficult to be able to send their children to school.
They have two years to pay this loan off.
Their main diet is now beans and rice.They collect herbs from the mountain.

They own their home.
It is made of cement block.
The roof is cement .
The floor is cement.
They have three rooms and a kitchen.
They have an onil stove.
They do not have a water filter.
They have electricity connected and pay $14 US per month.
They have water connected and pay $1 US per month.
They have 6 chairs and one table.
They have 2 closets.
They have 5 beds with mattresses.
